Role Overview
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will lead the technical development of our core AI automation pipelines and custom agentic frameworks. You will work directly with our leadership team to translate complex workflow requirements into resilient, self-healing backend architectures.
This is a 100% remote role open exclusively to exceptional engineers residing in Pakistan.
Core Responsibilities
- ▹Architect Autonomous Agents: Design and deploy multi-agent LLM systems using modern frameworks and custom orchestration logic.
- ▹Optimize Inference Performance: Implement aggressive caching, streaming responses, and prompt compression to minimize latency and token expenditure.
- ▹Build Robust Backend Systems: Develop scalable microservices and APIs using Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript (Next.js App Router).
- ▹Integrate Vector Infrastructure: Manage semantic search pipelines, embedding generation, and hybrid retrieval systems (pgvector, Pinecone).
- ▹Ensure Enterprise Safety: Implement rigorous safeguards, structured JSON schema validation, and fallback mechanisms to prevent hallucinations in production.
What We Look For
- ▹5+ Years of Engineering Experience: Proven track record of shipping production backend software, with at least 2+ years dedicated to AI/ML applications.
- ▹Deep LLM Mastery: Hands-on experience with Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, DeepSeek, and open-weight models (Llama 3, Mistral).
- ▹High-Performance Architecture: Deep understanding of async programming, Redis queuing, serverless workers, and database optimization.
- ▹Zero-BS Engineering Mindset: You write clean, testable, brutalist code. You delete bloat instead of adding it.
- ▹Location: Must be based in Pakistan with a reliable, high-speed remote workstation setup.
Nice-to-Haves
- ▹Experience building browser extensions or Manifest V3 developer tools.
- ▹Familiarity with SEO data pipelines (DataForSEO, Google Indexing APIs).
- ▹Contributions to open-source AI frameworks or developer utilities.
